Our Medi-Peel unit, the latest technology for microdermabrasion treatments, uses micron-sized diamonds to resurface each individual’s skin type. Also referred to as mechanical exfoliation, microdermabrasion is a cosmetic technique that removes dead skin, exposes healthier skin, stimulates metabolic processes and promotes new growth. It is a quick, non-invasive procedure which works for many skin conditions such as aging, sun damage, scarring, whiteheads, acne, and oily skin. It is recommended that you use sun screen after treatments as the skin is usually sensitive to sun exposure. Not recommended for people with active herpes lesions, active acne or rosacea, open sores or lesions, dermatitis, psoriasis, people using Accutane within the last 6 months, eczema, and lupus.
